Madeline Elizabeth

Madeline is 2! Can you believe it? At her 2 year check up she weighed 31.5 lbs (90th percentile) and was 36 inches tall (90th percentile). She talks a ton and is FULL of personality. For her 2nd birthday she had a birthday party where everyone she loves came to our house and celebrated with us. She is one lucky girl! Here are a few pictures from her birthday.

Madeline has moved to her big girl room and her big girl bed! She made the move 2 months ago after crying for two nights in her crib because she wanted her new bed. Well I guess she was ready because we had no problems at all!! She loves her bed and the freedom of getting in and out by herself. Her old room is now referred to as Braden’s room and has begun transforming into his room. Here are pictures of her big girl room.

School has been going really well for Madeline. She loves going to school and playing with her friends. Here are her very first school pictures.

Madeline loves her Kitty cats at home so what else would she be for Halloween?? She loved her costume so much that I had trouble getting it off of her!! Here are a few pictures from Halloween.

Tuesday September 8th was Madeline’s first day of school. She is going 2 days a week for 5 hours. It’s a big adjustment for mommy as well as Madeline. The first day started off fantastic. Madeline was in a great mood and said yes when asked if she wanted to go to school and play with kids. Cousin Ryan and Madeline were so happy walking like big kids holding hands. Once we arrived at school her attitude changed. The tears were in full force and that made it really hard to leave. When I returned to pick her up I saw her happy and playing. She was playing so nicely until she saw me. She started crying again, but it was only for a minute. She told her teachers bye bye and thank you and ran to kiss a little girl in her class bye bye. Hopefully she’ll be happy when I drop her off tomorrow. Here are a few pictures.

I know it’s been a while! Madeline is 18 months old and growing so fast. She loves to swim, play outside, talk (not sure where that comes from), and loves ice cream. She is also going to be a big sister in January! Here are her 18 month pictures.

Next week we are off to Arkansas for a week of fun with family!

Well Madeline has been walking like crazy ever since my last post on here. She’s into everything!! She loves to explore new places especially if it’s outside! In fact we can’t keep her inside!! Here are a few pictures from the carnival at the rodeo and a few others that have been taken recently. She rode her first roller coaster at the carnival with her cousins!

Well the last 2 weeks have been crazy! Madeline is trying to walk and if that’s not enough she’s climbing everything she can!! Here are a few videos of her recent activities.

February 3, 2009 Madeline gets her first haircut. Nanny Ali has a friend who comes to her house and cuts hair, so why not cut Madeline’s hair too? It was not so fun for her! Here are pictures!

Well I have to say that Madeline’s 1st birthday was a huge success! There were so many friends and family all here to celebrate her big day! Madeline was still not feeling her best, but made it through like a champ! We all truly appreciate everyone for coming to her party!
